COW FROM ORIGINAL LARGENT RANCH

LS Miss Pot O’ Gold 013 – registration #43111561  price = SOLD

Patsy was born 7/4/2010 and is the best cow out of about a dozen cows we bought from the Largent’s Point of Rocks Ranch a few years ago. They are the origin of the Miniature Hereford breed. We are reducing our herd size, keeping only our own breeding results, so she is for sale. We are retaining a beautiful heifer from her that was the 2016 Champion Yearling Summer Heifer at the New Mexico State Fair, so we can keep her genetics in our herd.
As you can see from the picture, Patsy is an extremely easy keeper! After a long, hard winter in Colorado, she is fat and sassy. Patsy is dehorned and is halter broke, although we have not handled her a lot in the last few years.

REGISTERED OPEN HEIFER – Champion sire & dam

WW Twinklee Star – registration #43613798  price = $4,600

Star was born 6/8/2015 and is ready to breed. She is a pretty, clean-fronted female and was the Reserve Champion Summer Yearling Heifer last year at the New Mexico State Fair. Her sire is WW Sam’s Gold E, who was a four time Grand Champion and twice Reserve Grand at Houston. Her dam is WW Tinker Bell, who was Grand Champion in Amarillo in 2012 and three time Reserve Grand Champion at Austin, the State Fair of Texas, and the America Royal in Kansas City. There are not any better genetics around, and this heifer could easily bring you winning calves for a long time.

REGISTERED COW – MULTIPLE CHAMPION OFFSPRING

MLU Molly  – registration #42932459   price (including calf) =    SOLD

Molly was born 5/5/2008 and may be an older cow, but she has a great history of consistent calving of high quality calves. Her progeny include Grand Champion WW Tom Thumb and Grand Champion WW Tinker Bell. She has given us a calf every year without fail and without any assistance. In fact, this year she calved out a heifer calf who was sired by a giant, fence jumping, Brahma bucking bull – without batting an eye! (see attached picture) She is a good milker with an excellent udder and should be able to give you several more years of awesome calves. Molly is one of our gentlest cows, is halter broke, and comes easily when called – she is first in line for the bucket. The funky colored baby comes with the package, too!
